Anita Dressed As A CakeANITA
(Mid-days, WJER AM)

     Anita hosts various shows on WJER AM including the very popular Classic Canteen, daily from Anita, Broadcasting From The Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame And Museum. 12:30 to 2pm on AM 14:50. A 1985 graduate of New Philadelphia High School, Anita graduated from The University of Akron School of Fine & Applied Arts with a BA in Communication-Radio & TV Production and a Master of Arts in Communication. She loves to teach Broadcasting and Communication classes at The U of A and Kent State (Stark & Tusc). She absolutely loves working in RADIO, and has been a voice on AM 14:50 for over 10 years. 
     Prior to her joining WJER, she was on the air with WZIP in Akron,  and also worked at Huntington Bank. In addition to living here in the Tuscarawas Valley, Anita has also lived in Germany and Kansas. Her hobbies include playing her guitar, caring for her two dogs,  Mojo & Max (see below) and learning everything she could from broadcast legend and mentor, Dick Hanchette. The best experience of her career (besides knowing Hanchette)? Meeting KKen Burns smiling after autographing my Mac. In imovie editing a Ken Burnsen Burns and also broadcasting from the Alan Freed Studio at the Rock & Roll HOF in Cleveland during WJER's annual January trek to the area HOFs.
