Nellie Stockwell Memorial Grant

Applications are currently being accepted for the Friends of the Tuscarawas County Public Library – Nellie Stockwell Memorial Grant in Aid. To be eligible for the grant, students must be a graduate of a local high school or a resident of Tuscarawas County seeking higher education. Those with GED’s will also be accepted. Applicants must provide three letters of recommendation and a letter of admission or schedule of courses for an accredited college, university, or technical school. This includes online programs. A typed, 500-word essay expressing why the Tuscarawas County Public Library System is important to the applicant is also required. Applications can be found at area high school guidance offices and the Main Library in New Philadelphia. Deadline to apply is Thursday, June 1st, 2023.
