| August 5, 2024

MILL TOWNSHIP (WTUZ) (August 5, 2024) – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning with one requiring helicopter transport.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, a deputy for the Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office, Dennison and Uhrichsville fire personnel, and Smith Ambulance responded to the 10 a.m. collision on Wolford Road. Trooper Matthew Clapper says the 2013 Ford F-250 pickup truck was traveling northwest when it went left of center and hit a 2017 Nissan Ultima head-on.

The Nissan driver sustained serious injuries and was transported from the scene by helicopter. Two passengers had non-life-threatening injuries and were transported via ambulance.

The pickup truck driver was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was cited for going left of center and distracted driving.

The Ford F-250 received minor damage. The Nissan Ultima is a total loss.
