GNADENHUTTEN (WJER) (May 5, 2025) – The Indian Valley school family is mourning the loss of a high school student following a lengthy illness.
The Indian Valley School District Music Boosters group on Facebook announced the passing of sophomore Evan Davis on Sunday.
Online posts say Evan had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2023, but he continued to fight and do what he loved, including drumming with the marching band, as he dealt with side effects from treatments.
An online fundraiser in Evan’s name for pediatric cancer research has raised more than $2,000.
