Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau offers Agricultural Tire Recycling Event to Members
The event
Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau is excited to announce a recycling initiative aimed at supporting our agriculture community and promoting environmental sustainability. Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau members will have the opportunity to recycle agricultural tires at a fraction of the price beginning August 4, 2025.
In partnership with Tuscarawas County Health Department, OSU Extension of Tuscarawas County, and Black Bounce Rubber & Tire, Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau will offer tire recycling as low as $1 per tire.
“Tire disposal can pose a significant financial challenge, and we are committed to providing a responsible solution,” says Jim Rowe, Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau President. “Members in our ag community will have the opportunity to clean up their farms, and rid themselves of ag tires at a significant cost-savings.”

Why Recycle Tires?
This project aims to provide farmers a resource to clean up their property, remove any litter, and potential for mosquito breeding grounds. In addition, tire recycling helps reduce waste in landfills, prevents environmental pollution, and promotes the use of recycled materials in various products. By participating in this event, you are making a positive impact on our community and the environment.
