LITTLE THEATRE TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR WORLDS LONGEST RUNNING PLAY
The event
The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County will hold auditions for the longest running play in the world, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, on Sunday and Monday, August 10 & 11 at 7 p.m. at the theatre. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. The performance dates are October 3-19, 2025.
For over 70 years, this thriller has kept millions of people on the edge of their seats and continues to be a sell-out hit in London.
This thrilling story takes place in England in the years following World War II. After a local woman is murdered, the guests and staff at Monkswell Manor find themselves stranded during a snowstorm. It soon becomes clear that the killer is among them, and the seven strangers grow increasingly suspicious of one another.
Director Don Irven and assistant director Elizabeth Thomakos are seeking to cast five men and three women. All actors will be asked to read with a British dialect. Actors will read from the script. Character descriptions and audition monologues are available online at thelittletheatreonline.org
