Zoar Hosts Immersive Civil War School Day for Students
The event
Historic Zoar Village brings back its Civil War School Day on Friday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Public, private and homeschooled students can learn about life on the battlefield as well as how Separatists in Zoar and citizens in the Union lived during the conflict. Students can interact with famous figures of the Civil War, including President Abraham Lincoln and Harriet Tubman, watch infantry and artillery demonstrations and participate in a variety of hands-on activities.

The cost for this event is $10 per student and free for children under 4. One adult per group is free, each additional adult is $10 and all teachers are free. All proceeds go toward the preservation and educational efforts of Historic Zoar Village.
