Sacred Heart Garden Club

The Sacred Heart Garden Club is a garden club that meets monthly every 4th Tuesday at 6:30 ( except December) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Fair Ave. in New Philly. We are open to all- young  and old gardeners, wanna be gardeners , experienced gardeners and anyone who wants to learn about plants. Every month we cover different topics in gardening. We’ve made soap and lotions organically along with salves from herbs grown in our gardens, we’ve cover topics from how to grow vegetables to Hostas and everything in between. We swap plants between members, organize and have a big plant sale in May, and help maintain the gardens at the church with those funds from the sale.  We tour each others’ gardens during the spring and summer. But most importantly we make friends with other gardeners.
