Annual New Philadelphia Pickleball Open

The United Way of Tuscarawas County will host its 3^rd Annual New Philadelphia Pickleball Open on Monday, September 1^st (Labor Day) at Tuscora Park in New Philadelphia beginning at 8:00am and running throughout the rest of the day. The event will feature Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles tournaments with 16 teams per category, and any players with a 4.0 or under skill rating are encouraged to participate. The first place team in each category will receive a $100 cash prize with second place receiving $50, and the top three teams in each category will receive medals.

The cost to participate is $40 per person or $60 if you would like to participate in two categories. Each player is guaranteed two games. Interested teams can register online at www.tuscunitedway.org/events. Anyone who registers by Friday, August 22^nd will receive a free T-shirt. Proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Tuscarawas County and the 12 local health and human service partner agencies it supports.
