The raises for department heads and non-union employees are about 3 percent in 2026 and 2.5 percent in 2027 and 2028. At the same time, the employees’ health care contribution would jump from 5 percent to 8 percent by the second year of the three-year contract.
Among elected officials, the auditor and law director salaries will be $102,000 a year in 2027, up from about $97,000 this year. The mayor’s salary will reach $113,500 in 2027.
Council members and the Council president will get pay increases, but they’ll still make less than $10,000 dollars a year.
