New Philadelphia set to approve new superintendent’s contract
NEW PHILADELPHIA – The New Philadelphia School Board will vote on a contract for the district’s next superintendent at a special meeting on Wednesday, March 25, at 4 p.m. at the Front Street administration building.
Carole Sutton would receive a 3-year contract at $151,000 a year. That contract would start on Aug. 1, but the district plays to hire her 20 days before that at $550 per day.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Sutton is an administrator at the Stark County Educational Service Center. Her past 20 years of educational experience includes time as a principal and as assistant superintendent at Marlington Local Schools.
