Nearly 200 Runners Finish 19th Annual Run for Home Half Marathon
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (April 13, 2026) – Nearly 200 runners took to the streets Sunday for the 19th annual Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home Half Marathon.
Matthew Engstrom, 32, of Dover claimed the overall victory, finishing first among 197 runners with a time of 1:16:42, averaging a 5:51‑per‑mile pace. Trent Nixon, 26, of North Canton placed second, followed by Alec Cline, 29, of Canton in third.
The top female finisher was Lindsey Beachy, 39, of Glenmont, who crossed the line in 1:41:12, averaging 7:44 per mile. Proceeds from the annual Run for Home once again benefit Habitat for Humanity of East Central Ohio, helping build homes and hope in the community.
