Expect delays on I-77 between New Philadelphia and Newcomerstown
NEW PHILADEPHIA – Drivers heading south toward Newcomerstown should plan for delays next week on I-77.
On Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., crews will be working to remove loose rocks along the highway. The goal is to scale back the area affected by a rockfall in March.
Traffic will be stopped intermittently for short periods while crews safely scale back the affected area.
One lane of traffic will remain open in both directions, but drivers are urged to use caution and allow extra travel time.
