Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department Homecoming Celebration

The Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department will be having a Homecoming Celebration on Saturday May 16th at the fire station located at 6288 Firehouse Street in Somerdale.  The event will begin with a parade at 5:00 PM (line up will begin at 4:00 off of Riggle Hill Rd at Maher Rd.). We are looking for area fire departments, churches, 4H clubs, local organizations, past festival queens, and past members of the department to come and participate in the parade, the more the merrier.

There will be a few of our all-time favorite past Homecoming games to participate in after the parade: Bingo, roll down, tic-tac-toe, bouncy house and the duck pond.

Also, Following the parade, we will be serving Italian sausage sandwiches (with peppers & onions), fish sandwiches, fries, creamed chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, drinks and desserts.

The event will conclude that evening with a square/line dance from 8-11 with Dan Kirk leading.

Come out and reminisce with neighbors, family and friends and enjoy an evening of fun, food & games.
