The event
The OH250 Tuscarawas County Committee invites the entire community to the Celebrate America Community Concert, a free, family-friendly event taking place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State Tuscarawas. The event is open to the public and is part of the America 250–Ohio celebration. Community Picnic: Noon–2:00 p.m. The festivities begin outdoors with a Community Picnic from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic food, lawn chairs, or a blanket and enjoy the afternoon in the spirit of community and celebration. Guests will have the opportunity to receive complimentary merchandise and giveaways throughout the event. Afternoon Performances: 2:00 p.m. Inside the PAC At 2:00 p.m., the celebration moves indoors to the Performing Arts Center, where guests can first browse entries from the Historic Builds: A Tuscarawas County Lego Contest — a creative showcase of Tuscarawas County landmarks. The concert lineup features three outstanding performances: • En-rich-ment Steel Drum Band— bringing the vibrant sounds of steel drums to the stage. • Hall of Fame Chorus — performing beloved American choral classics. • Vane Scott’s Many Faces of Old Glory accompanied by the Dominic Greco Band — a stirring patriotic tribute to the American flag and its storied history. While admission to the concert is free, tickets are required and may be picked up at the Camp Tuscazoar booth at the Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market or the Tuscarawas County Welcome Center, located at 124 E High Ave, New Philadelphia, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00
