LITERACY COALITION SET TO HOST ANNUAL COMMUNITY SHRED EVENT
Coming Soon
The event
The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition will host a secure document shredding and destruction event from 10:00am to 12:00pm (noon) on Saturday, July 25, in the lower parking lot of First
Federal Community Bank on the Boulevard. Community members are invited to safely dispose of sensitive documents at no cost. While the service is free, voluntary donations will be accepted to support the Literacy Coalition’s 2026 One Book, One Community program. Attendees are also encouraged to bring new or gently used books for children, teens, and adults in support of TCLC’s book drive. Accepted materials include personal and business documents such as:
• Legal paperwork
• Old tax records
• Medical records
• Financial statements
A maximum of four boxes per vehicle will be accepted. Electronic waste will not be accepted at this year’s event. For safety and efficiency, shredding materials cannot be dropped off prior to 10:00am. Participants must also sign a waiver form at the time of service.
