Gibbs Lane Lemonade Stand Returns Friday

| August 6, 2026

DOVER (WJER) (Aug. 6, 2026) – A Dover neighborhood tradition is raising money and supplies for kids and animals in need.

The 4th annual Gibbs Lane Lemonade Stand is Friday from 8 a.m. – or even earlier –  to 5 p.m. on Gibbs Lane.

Organizer Lois Brown says kids will sell homemade cookies, popcorn, puppy chow, drinks, and original artwork.

Monetary donations will also be accepted, with a goal of $5,000 after last year’s stand raised $4,216.

“The kids wanting to give back, that makes me proud. They’re the ones that run it,” Brown said. “I just want to put the focus on my kids.”

The stand is also collecting preschool school supplies for Harcutus Stuff-the-Bus and pet food, litter, towels, blankets, and other items for the Tuscarawas County Humane Society.
