The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will continue its yearlong America 250 celebration with library programs this fall.

The programs are as follows:
- Traitor! The Tragic Tale of Benedict Arnold Main Library. Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30PM. Here is the sad tale of ex-patriot of Colonial America Benedict Arnold who sought honor and glory but received the opposite.
- Ohio Plays: Baseball Featuring Chris Hart as Cy Young Tusky Branch. Thursday, September 24th at 6:30PM. Portraying Cy, Hart will reminisce about life in major league baseball, his love of Tuscarawas County, and his many achievements on the way to becoming a Hall of Fame pitcher.
- A Manufacturing History of Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Main Library. Saturday, October 17th at 11:00 AM. Shelagh Pruni, director of the Reeves Museum, and Kim Jurkovic, curator of the Tuscarawas County Historical Society, will discuss their book, A Manufacturing History of Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
- Abandoned Mines in our Area (Adults) Strasburg Branch. Thursday, October 22nd at 6:00 PM. An expert from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Abandoned Mine Land program will provide information on the history of mining in our area and modern-day abandoned mine reclamation efforts.
- Streetcars in Tuscarawas County. Main Library. Tuesday, November 3rd at 6:00 PM. Jon Baker will discuss the forgotten streetcars that were located in our very own county.
- Bringing in the Marines! Strasburg Branch. Thursday, November 12th at 6:00 PM. Marine Corps Veteran and retired Washington D.C. Police Officer, Richard Vickers Jr., will discuss the local Marine Corps League and the launch of Tuscarawas County’s new Young Marines program.
- Chris Hart Presents: When Johnny Comes Marching Home. Main Library. Wednesday, November 18th at 6:30 PM. Join Chris Hart as he presents on Civil War veterans returning home.
- Gettysburg Address Reenactment Tusky Branch. Thursday, November 19th at 6:30PM. Join Abe Lincoln as he delivers his famous speech.
- Chris Hart Presents: Forever We Honor Sugarcreek Branch. Tuesday, November 24th at 6:00PM. Chris Hart will portray volunteer Dennis McClure as he walks you through the history of Arlington National Cemetery.
- Chris Hart Presents: A Civil War Christmas. Main Library. Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30PM. Join Chris Hart as he reminisces on Christmas during the Civil War.
