OSU Alumni Club Reels in Scholarship Support

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Sept. 28, 2026) – The Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County will raise money for local students during its sixth annual Drive-Up Fishing Expedition from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Tuscora Park.
Cars will enter from Tuscora Avenue and follow Al Maloney Midway.
For $20, participants receive a vehicle-delivered “catch of the day” worth at least $20. Donated prizes include OSU décor and apparel, gift certificates, local merchandise and items autographed by current and former Buckeyes.
Payment may be made by cash, Venmo or check payable to the OSU Foundation.
The club awarded $29,000 in scholarships to Tuscarawas County students for the 2026–27 school year.
