Early Voting Begins Today in Tuscarawas County
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Oct. 6, 2026) — Early voting for the November election opens today at the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections. Director Dave Johnson says registered voters can cast ballots in person at the East High Avenue office, where officials have expanded the voting area and added machines and service windows to handle expected turnout.
Johnson says the office anticipates a busy start, with about 4,500 mail‑in ballots already requested. Voters can also apply for an absentee ballot through the Board of Elections until October 27 before the close of business.
