Run for Home Marks 20th Year with Special Registration Deal
NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Oct. 21, 2026) – The Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital Run for Home is preparing for a milestone year in 2027, celebrating its 20th year with added awards and a limited‑time registration offer. Race weekend is set for April 10–11, with all events starting and finishing at Tuscora Park.
Race Director Matt Ritzert says runners can take advantage of a 20‑hour early‑bird special: registration for the half marathon, 10K, 5K, one‑mile fun run, and three‑person relay is $20 per runner, or $60 per relay team. The deal opened at 8 p.m. Tuesday and runs through 4 p.m. today.
Organizers say anniversary plans include a commemorative gift for all participants and special awards for the top 20 finishers in the half marathon and 5K and 10K races. Details and registration are available at RunForHome.org. Proceeds again benefit Habitat for Humanity.
