Empower Tusc. – Mental Health Training

The event

The Suicide Prevention Committee through the Empower Tusc Coalition is proud to offer Mental Health First Aid training on Tuesday, August 16th. Two free training opportunities will be held: Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid. Both classes will be offered from 9:30am to 4pm at Kent State Tuscarawas. During each course attendees will learn to identify common signs and symptoms of mental illness, how to interact with a person in a crisis, and where to find resources for those in crisis. Those encouraged to attend include anyone who works with the public or community members, anyone who interacts with adults and youth, and anyone effected by mental illness. You must register to attend.
