2025 fair week kicks off in Dover

DOVER (WJER) (Sept. 15, 2025) – The 175th annual Tuscarawas County Fair is underway starting today.

The lineup today includes the Junior Fair market hog, poultry, lamb, and goat shows with the 4-H kids.

David Renner with the Tuscarawas County Veterans Service Office says veterans get free admission today. He says veterans can find his office set up under the grandstand for free food vouchers and information on available resources.

The grandstand entertainment tonight is motocross. Tickets are required. You can see the full schedule at tusccountyfairgrounds.com.

18-year-old Maggie Hamilton of Bolivar was crowned the 2025 fair queen to get things started on Sunday night while 16-year-old Colton Domer of Dover is this year’s king.
