2025 Woman of the Year Award recipient to be named Wednesday

DENNISON (WJER) (Oct. 21, 2025) – The five finalists in the running this week for the Dennison Depot’s 2025 Tuscarawas County Woman of the Year Award are all expressing their gratitude and their passion for volunteerism.

Retired teacher-turned-Dover librarian Sherrel Rieger has helped present and develop a wide range of informative programs for the public.

Dennison Council member Vikki O’Hara is very active with the 11th Street Church of God in Uhrichsville and more.

Roxie Long of Zoarville has been involved with Little Theatre for many years, as well as the J.E. Reeves Home and Museum.

Lisa Keim of Bolivar gives time to the Union Hospital Auxiliary and different events.

Sarah DiFazio, owner of Be Yoga Studios in Dover, provided free meditation sessions to those impacted by the Tusky Valley charter bus tragedy.

The award will be given during a banquet on Wednesday in Dennison.  Tune in to WJER News on Thursday to hear from the winner.
