54th annual Turkey Trot set for Thanksgiving morning
DOVER (WJER) (Nov. 26, 2025) – The Tuscarawas County YMCA is expecting approximately 1,000 participants for its annual Turkey Trot 5k walk and run Thursday morning.
Marketing Director Kathleen Johnson says a lot of them show up in colorful turkey-themed gear.
She describes it as a nice flat course that goes through the streets of neighborhoods surrounding the YMCA.
Participants can register until shortly before the 9 a.m. start time online at tuscymca.org.
All proceeds go to the YMCA’s campaign that provides financial assistance on programs and memberships for those who qualify.
