Annual Volunteer Connect Fair returns

DOVER (WJER) (Sept. 24, 2025) – Area non-profit organizations are coming together under one roof to recruit those willing to lend a helping hand.
Volunteer Leaders in Action is having its annual Volunteer Connect Fair today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
Chair Kim Harmon says about two dozen non-profits from the county will be there with information on volunteer positions that they’re currently attempting to fill.
She says all kinds of talents are in demand and time commitments can vary. Harmon says as director at Mobile Meals, she understands the value of volunteerism.
Harmon says there will be door prizes given out every 15 minutes and refreshments at today’s event.
