Authorities scour Sherrodsville area for man wanted by U.S. Marshals
SHERRODSVILLE (WJER) (May 9, 2025) – The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has still been asking for the public’s assistance in trying to track down a Canton area man who has been in and out of jail in Stark County on various drug charges over the years.
Authorities on Thursday morning started searching the Sherrodsville area for 42-year-old Joshua M. Middleton. He has an active warrant with the U.S. Marshals Service for weapons possession.
The sheriff’s office says Middleton could be armed, though no shooting took place. His vehicle was impounded and he is believed to be on foot.
Middleton is described as 5’11”, 165 lbs. with dark blonde or light brown hair and blue eyes wearing black jeans and a black coat.
Anyone who sees Middleton should not approach him and instead contact the sheriff’s office.
