Barnhill Town Hall to Discuss Possibility of Dissolving Village
BARNHILL (WJER) (July 7, 2026) – The future of the village of Barnhill will be up for discussion at a town hall meeting on Wednesday.
Local government officials will discuss possibilities for the village of about 400 people, including dissolution of the village, in the wake of numerous questions about the general void in local governance in Barnhill.
A press release circulated by the Sheriff’s Office outlines options for dissolving the village, including putting a measure on the ballot and merging with Goshen Township into a single municipality governed under Midvale’s laws.
The Barnhill town hall meeting is at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Midvale Elementary School.
