Canal Dover Festival returns through Sunday
DOVER (WJER) (May 24, 2024) – The Memorial Day weekend tradition known as the Canal Dover Festival is getting back into full swing for its 43rd year.
Dover Exchange Club Treasurer Terry Auman says the midway opens for lunchtime today and the live music begins at 4 p.m.
Club President Kevin Korns says Saturday’s lineup includes the parade through downtown, stepping off at noon.
That’ll be followed at 1 p.m. by the auction of the festival plate, which this year features the city’s new veterans monument.
Sunday’s lineup has pro wrestling at noon and more musical entertainment until 11 p.m.
