Canal Town Book Festival set for Saturday at Dover High School

DOVER (WJER) (Oct. 3, 2025) – The Tuscarawas Valley’s largest yearly author fair is this weekend.
The 5th annual Canal Town Book Festival is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 .pm., but this time at the Dover High School auxiliary gymnasium.
Library Director Jim Gill says approximately 60 authors from multiple genres will be there selling and signing books.
He says there will also be five different panel discussions for people to learn more about writing and publishing.
They have also planned kids’ activities, such as face painting and a scavenger hunt, food trucks, and raffle prizes.
