Claymont students and businesses to link at inaugural expo
UHRICHSVILLE (Feb. 18, 2025) – The Twin Chamber of Commerce is bringing area employers and high school students together to see what both sides have to offer.
Chamber Director Beth DiDonato says it’s happening Wednesday morning at the chamber’s first-ever Business and Career Expo at Claymont High School.
“We have 20 businesses signed up to go out and set up displays and so forth in the gym. Prior to that they are going to meet in the auditeria and the kids are going to make presentations to the business owners about what their career tracks are,” she said.
DiDonato is pleased with the number of businesses that have agreed to participate.
“We’re excited about that because it exceeded our expectations as to what we thought we would have. We want to do another one next year and we want to of course make it bigger and better,” said DiDonato.
