Clinic for the Working Uninsured to host Spring Fling fundraiser

| May 12, 2022

DOVER (WJER) (May 11, 2022) – The Tuscarawas Clinic for the Working Uninsured is inviting the public to a gathering to help it continue providing free healthcare services to those who qualify.

Director Pat Warther says their Spring Fling Celebration is this Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the clinic’s parking lot at 420 Reeves Avenue in Dover.

She says they’ll have raffle tickets for $5 donations available for a chance to win cash prizes or an autographed Myles Garrett photo.

They’ll have gift baskets with various items.

Chick-fil-A and Miller’s Creamery will also be there in the parking lot.

Warther says along with their sponsors, events like this make it possible for the clinic to be here for the community.

“Our fundraiser is important to us. That’s how we survive at the clinic,” said Warther.

The clinic serves families of working county residents who are under 200-percent of the federal poverty level.
