Devan Duniver murder to be subject of ABC’s 20/20 this Friday
DOVER (May 2, 2022) (WJER) – An unresolved 1998 New Philadelphia murder case is about to be presented to a national audience again during a two-hour program.
This week’s episode of 20/20 on ABC reexamines the murder of five-year-old Devan Duniver and the conviction of Anthony Harris.
Harris was 12 years old at the time of the murder and served two years in juvenile detention before his lawyers were able to get his conviction overturned by arguing his confession was coerced.
The episode features new interviews with Harris and others who either were closely involved or covered the case, with some segments filmed at WJER Radio.
The episode airs Friday, May 6th at 9 pm on ABC.
