Dirt bike racers earn local, national accolades
Local student dirt bike racers wrapped up their National Season in October. These kids, along with their families, traveled over 9,000 miles this year to compete against the ‘Best of the Best’ in the world of off-road dirt bike racing in the Grand National Cross Country Series (GNCC).
They placed as follows in the GNCC series:
Madison Harmon (Claymont 9th Grade) – 6th Place – Girls (12-15) Championship
Michael Meyer (Claymont 7th Grade) – 3rd Place – 85 Big Wheel (12-15) Championship
Dino Mecomonaco (Claymont 6th Grade) – 11th Place – 85 (7-11) Championship
Maddox Hudnall (Claymont 5th Grade) – 12th Place – 85 (7-11) Championship
Remington Meyer (Claymont 4th Grade) – 6th Place – 65 (7-8) Championship
Jillian Meechan (Conotton Valley 10th Grade) – 11th Place – Girls (12-15) Championship
Neco Presutti (Conotton Valley 9th Grade) – 8th Place – 85 Big Wheel (12-15) Championship
Hunter Cross (Indian Valley 4th Grade) – 3rd Place – 65 (9) Championship
