Dover Halloween trick-or-treat will be on October 31

DOVER – The city is wasting no time in announcing trick or treat times for Halloween.

Mayor Shane Gunnoe says Dover trick or treat will be on Halloween – Saturday October 31^st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

He says the city starts getting questions about Halloween around this time of year, and this year’s decision on the time was a no-brainer.

The city still has plenty of summer activities planned.

The Dover Farmers Market starts on Thursday from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Dover City Park and continues on Thursdays through September.

The next Dover Lions Club Concert at Dies Hill Park will be on Thursday, July 16^th, at 7:30 p.m. It features the Hitmen, who play hits from 1950s through the 2010s.

And the Dover Car Show is scheduled for Friday August 7^th.
