Dover official says guardrail will be fixed soon

| March 11, 2022

The guardrail in front of Maple Grove Cemetery has been damaged since Oct. 30.

DOVER (WJER) (March 11, 2022) – The guardrail in front of Maple Grove Cemetery at Tuscarawas and Slingluff avenues has been mangled since Oct. 30 when a car crashed through it.

Dover City Auditor Nicole Stoldt says the city finally got a check to pay to fix it within the past couple of weeks. She says an insurance claim was holding up the repairs.

“I think it was fought in court, so it took longer for us to get the insurance reimbursement,” she said.

Stoldt says city officials have the guardrail on order, and it will be fixed soon.
