Dover Police Firmly Enforce Fairgrounds Parking Rules
DOVER (WJER) (Sept. 23, 2026) — The city of Dover is serious about enforcing parking regulations around the Tuscarawas County Fair this week.
Dover police issued at least 18 parking tickets around the fairgrounds Monday, many for vehicles parked within 30 feet of a stop sign.
Dover officials, including Mayor Shane Gunnoe, asked fairgoers Monday to be considerate and to obey “no parking from here to corner” signs, as well as avoid blocking residential driveways.
