Dover women place first, men second at OVAC swim meet
Dover’s women placed first in the OVAC meet with four gold medals, five silver and five bronze. All three Dover relay teams won gold. Elizabeth Lane had the team’s solo gold in the 100 freestyle.
Dover’s men were second with six gold medals, three silver, and three bronze. The Tornadoes’ Lucas Lane won two individual gold, setting meet records in the 100 freestyle (lead off in 400 free relay), the 100 backstroke, and the 500 freestyle. Richard Tolloti won gold in the 100 breaststroke, and Cameron Marshall won gold in the 200 freestyle.
The Tornado boys 400 freestyle relay (Lucas Lane, Kasey Ruegsegger, Cameron Marshall, Thomas Perkowski) set a new meet record as well, one of two Dover relays to take gold.
