Dover’s DiFazio will continue wrestling at Lake Erie College

Dover High School wrestling standout Egidio DiFazio has signed an Athletic Grant in Aid to continue his education and wrestling career at Lake Erie College in Painesville.

Difazio is the son of Sarah and Egidio DiFazio of Dover.

Lake Erie College is a NCAA Division II school and a member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

DiFazio was a state qualifier at 138 in 2022 as well as All-conference OVAC and ECOL.

In addition to four varsity letters in wrestling, DiFazio has also lettered in cross country and track as well as being a scholar-athlete award winner for the Crimson Tornadoes. DiFazio plans to major in business with the aspiration of one day owning a business after graduating from college.
