Early voting continues on Columbus Day

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Oct. 14, 2024) – Tuscarawas County Board of Elections officials are letting the public know their office is open for early voting, despite it being Columbus Day.
Director Gail Garbrandt says you can come in to vote early through 5 p.m. today.
She reminds voters they need to bring valid identification such as an unexpired Ohio driver’s license or ID card, or a U.S. passport or passport card.
While the Board of Elections office is open, the rest of the courthouse is closed for the federal holiday.
