Early voting ‘steady’ in this off-year election

| October 28, 2025

NEW PHILADELPHIA (WJER) (Oct. 28. 2025) – The Tuscarawas County Board of Elections office has seen steady participation in early voting, now in its fourth and final week.

Director Dave Johnson says more than 1,300 people cast an early in-person ballot during the first three weeks.

The board has had four machines set up for early voting in its new office at 933 East High Avenue ahead of Election Day, which is one week from today.  But more machines could be brought out, if needed.

Voters across the county will decide levies for the ADAMHS Board, The Tuscarawas County Senior Center, and the Tuscarawas County Public Library, as well as other localized issues and candidate races.
