Alan Fitzpatrick Kicks Off Fort Laurens 2025 Free Speaker Series
The event
Author, historian, artist and lecturer Alan Fitzpatrick kicks off Fort Laurens Museum’s 2025 Free Speaker Series on Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. in the Fort Laurens theater.
Fitzpatrick will lead a discussion titled “Material Culture of Indigenous People,” which will present information on the material cultures of Native Americans pre- and post-European contact. Although he is Canadian-born, Fitzpatrick is known as an expert in Indigenous culture in the Ohio Country during the French and Indian Wars through the American Revolution.
