Brews and Bites

The United Way of Tuscarawas County will host its 5th annual “Brews & Bites” fundraiser on Saturday, September 13th from 2:00 to 5:00pm at Kent State Tuscarawas. The event will feature craft beer samplings from 10 breweries along with small bites, live music, a gift card pull, and games.

Featured breweries will include Codex Brewing (North Canton), Holy Moley Brewing Company (Dennison), Hoodletown Brewing Company (Dover), Lockport Brewery (Bolivar), Main Sail Brewery (Sherrodsville), Millersburg Brewing Company (Millersburg), Muskellunge Brewing Company (Canton), The Pilot Brewhouse (New Philadelphia), Wooly Pig Brewery (Coshocton), and Burial Beer Co. (Asheville, NC).

Attendees can enjoy unlimited samples of craft beer and food during the event. The food menu will include cheeseburger sliders provided by Texas Roadhouse, pork tacos, slaw, and Spanish rice courtesy of Lisa and Michael Walker, and decadent brownies from the culinary department at Hennis Care Centre of Dover. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a commemorative flight board, and everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a “Brews & Bites” taster glass to use throughout the event and take home as a souvenir. Live music will be provided by Teddy Snyder, and tabletop and yard games will be available for added fun.

Early Bird tickets are $40 and include a taster glass, unlimited beer tastings, and food samples. The ticket price will increase to $50 on September 1st. Tickets can be purchased online via the link available at www.tuscunitedway.org/events. Tickets will also be available on the day of the event.
