Camp Tuscazoar Pig Roast Fundraiser

/ September 12, 2026

The event

Camp Tuscazoar will host its 37th annual Pig Roast fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 12 from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the camp dining hall. This fundraiser, the camp’s largest, is open to the public. The proceeds provide resources for maintenance, repair and construction projects at the historic camp, which is operated entirely by volunteers. The Pig Roast menu will include roast pork, barbecued chicken, parsley potatoes, vegetable, bread and butter, beverages and desserts. If requested, the meal can be served in a carryout container, and
outdoor seating will be available at picnic tables. Advance Pig Roast tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and are available by calling 330 859-2288 or online at https://www.camplife.com/1354/store. Tickets purchased at the door are $25 for adults and $15 for children. The W.C. Moorhead Museum will be open during the event. The museum contains Scouting memorabilia dating from Camp Tuscazoar’s earliest days. Visitors can also explore the camp’s 8.5 miles of horse/hike trails adjoining 10 miles of multi-use trails. The Camp Tuscazoar Foundation, Inc. is an Ohio non-profit corporation founded in 1986 for the purpose of maintaining and perpetuating Camp Tuscazoar for use by scouts, church groups, school groups and other community youth organizations. Camp Tuscazoar is located on Tuscarawas County Road 83, five miles east of Zoar, near Zoarville.
