Chili cookoff to benefit Jack’s House of Hope
The event
Looking for Top Chili Chefs to compete in JHOH Inaugural Chili Cookoff on January 18th, 12 – 4 PM at the Schoolhouse in Zoar.
The Friends of the Homeless of Tuscarawas County is holding a FREE Chili Cookoff to share information with the community about the Jack’s House of Hope campaign to build a new shelter and to learn about some of the individuals in our county who are currently without a permanent home.
This is a FREE fun event for the entire family. Bring your kids, your dogs (if friendly) and enjoy a complete chili supper including salad, bread or crackers and other goodies donated by volunteers, local churches and made and served by folks volunteering, working or living in the existing shelter.
All are welcome to cast their vote for your favorite chili (or chef 🙂
· First prize – Top Chili Cookoff Chef – $200 and an engraved spoon (selected by guest professional chefs only)
· Second prize – People’s Choice Chili Cookoff Chef award – $100 and an engraved spoon (selected by cookoff attendees)
· Third prize – Chili Cookoff Runner Up Chef – $50 and an engraved spoon (selected by cookoff attendees)

A goodwill donation basket and information on the campaign to support the shelter and new building will be available, but no purchase is necessary. This is a FREE meal.
