Crisis Intervention Team Training
The event
Attention Law Enforcement and EMS: There will be a Crisis Intervention Team Training starting on Monday, February 6th and ending on Friday, February 10th. Registration is now open for this 5 day seminar. This training will teach law enforcement offers how to have more effective interactions with individuals with mental illness, their families, and communities. The focus of the training will be prevention by teaching about mental illness and crisis intervention de-escalation techniques. It will address strategies for safely defusing anxious, violent, or hostile behavior as early as possible.
