Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo

The event

In celebration of National Engineers Week, Kent State University at Tuscarawas is holding the 43rd annual Engineering Technology Opportunity Expo on Wed., Feb.18, 2026 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. The Expo is open and free to the public.

Participating companies will have representatives from engineering, management, personnel and human resources available to address questions regarding job availability, skill requirements, expected salaries and career opportunities in engineering. They will also have displays featuring information on various products they manufacture.

Kent State Tuscarawas will have resource experts available to discuss the academic preparation needed for jobs in various fields of engineering technology.

Area high schools will participate in the Tuscarawas County Bridge Building Competition, sponsored by the Kent State Tuscarawas Engineering Technology Department. The testing and judging of submitted bridges will take place during the Expo. First- and second-place winners will be given the opportunity to compete in the International Bridge Building Contest. Boone Creek Pizza food truck will be available.
