Exhibit Unveiling at Reeves Museum
The event
The Reeves Museum/Dover Historical Society is pleased to announce our new featured exhibit for the 2025 season: “The Human Touch: Our Local Nursing Legacy”. The community is invited to our exhibit unveiling event on Tuesday, June 3, 6-8pm in the Reeves Carriage House.
At 7:00pm, our guest speaker, Pam Cazzoli, RN, will give a presentation on her time in Turkey at the Florence Nightingale headquarters. Pam is an expert on Florence Nightingale history and is also a leading ALS research nurse.
This exhibit is dedicated to the first nurses in Tuscarawas County and especially to the graduates of the Union Hospital School of Nursing (1904 – 1919). Special thanks to Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital, Massillon Museum, Aultman College of Nursing, and Kent State University Tuscarawas Nursing Program for sharing information and artifacts for this exhibit.
A sneak peek of our summer display in the mansion, “Enchanting Elegance: A Wedding Dress Experience”, will also be available.
This is a free event, but we encourage you to pre-register by calling the museum office, 330-343-7040
