Flash Dash and Doggie Fest at Kent Tusc.

Are you ready to strut your mutt for the 5K for K9’s and you? Come to the Kent State Tusc. Campus on Saturday, September 10th for the Flash Dash and Doggie Fest! Participants can compete in the traditional timed run or walk individually or bring your well-behaved dog to join you in the contests. Registration begins at 9am and race time is 10am. Two division options for the 5K run/walk include a runner only division and a runner + dog division. The 1/2 mile fun run/walk is open for all including your K9. All dogs must be leased, vaccinated and tagged. The cost to register the day of the race is $25, and $20 for students and alumni of Kent. If you pre-register before Tuesday, September 6th you can save $5. The 1/2 mile race will cost $15 and all pre-registered participants will receive a free T-Shirt. Eventgoers and pets do not have to compete. The dog-friendly event also includes a “Doggie Fest” featuring food, furry paw art, K9 contest, puppy photo booth, and more!
