Haunted Ghost Tours Return to Zoar

One of Historic Zoar Village’s most popular events, the annual Ghost Tours, will be available to visitors on October 10-11, October 17-18, October 24-26, October 31 and November 1.

Tours run every 15 minutes starting at 6:30 p.m., with the last tour starting at 8:45 p.m. Guests will depart for the hour-long walking tour at the Zoar Store and travel through the 200+ year-old town as historical interpreters in period dress, village residents, staff and paranormal investigators tell the haunted tales of Zoar. Free refreshments are available in the Zoar Store after each tour.

This event is recommended for adults and children over the age of 12. Tickets cost $19 each.

Ghost Tour Dinners Return

Zoar is bringing back the Ghost Tour Dinners for guests as an add-on to their Ghost Tour or as a stand-alone dinner. Ghost Dinner dates are October 11, 17, 25 and 31. All dinners take place before the Ghost Tours and will be a family-style meal with ghostly-themed appetizers, salad, entrée, sides and devil’s food cake. Reservations are required. Tickets can be purchased online for $30 per person for the stand-alone meal or $49 per person for the meal and admission to a Ghost Tour.

Free Village Trick-or-Treat on October 26

Historic Zoar Village’s Trick-or-Treat festivities are planned for Sun., October 26, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This family-friendly and safe event includes candy stops throughout the village. Those who want to participate in the costume parade and contest should gather in the Zoar Garden at 3:30 p.m. Contest judging will occur at 3:45 p.m. No reservations are required.
